1. Check the shock absorber for oil leakage. Look directly at the shock absorber housing or boot when it is not raining or the car has not been washed. You can see it at a glance. Very intuitive.
2. There is also listening. When driving at low speeds, there is a sound when the wheels pass over bumps in the road or when there is a slight vibration. The abnormal sound of the shock absorber is different from the abnormal sound of other chassis, it is very dull. If it is the front shock absorber, there is still obvious shock on the steering wheel. Find an experienced driver who can accurately judge which suspension is the issue.
3. There is also pressing the top of the suspension part of each wheel by hand, such as pressing the front and rear fenders. The faulty shock absorber is pressed too hard. This is a symptom of the oil leakage of the shock absorber in the later stage. This must be judged by an experienced maintenance technician.
4. If the shock absorber fails, it can only be replaced, and there is no way to repair it.
