The function of the diesel filter is the same as that of the gasoline filter, which is to filter out impurities and moisture in the fuel. The difference is that there are two diesel filters, the first is the diesel primary filter and the oil-water separator assembly, which can separate the moisture in the diesel from the diesel, and initially filter the impurities in the diesel; the second is the diesel fine filter. The filter can filter out the very fine impurities in the diesel oil and make the diesel oil cleaner.
For the diesel filter maintenance cycle, it is generally required to drain the oil-water separator every 3,000 kilometers, replace the primary fuel filter every 10,000 kilometers, and replace the diesel fine filter every 30,000 kilometers. If the use environment is bad or the diesel quality is poor, the replacement cycle should be shortened accordingly.
